Among all the peoples celebrated by the Indigenous People collection, the Sentinelese, inhabitants of the North Sentinel island of the Andaman Islands group, represent a unique social heritage to be jealously guarded.

Little or nothing is known about them and their customs. They don't breed, they don't cultivate. They live by hunting and fishing but there is no information on what methods they use to produce fire. Their language is indecipherable and not at all similar to neighbouring peoples with whom they have probably never had contact.
Any attempt to communicate with them resulted in a tragic epilogue.
They live protected by a dense thicket from which they emerge only to fish......and to defend themselves from the dangers that try to threaten them by approaching with "scary machinery". They are afraid and defend themselves and this defence unconsciously protects them from their extermination due to lack of autoimmune defences.

This great determination convinced the Government of India, on which they depend, to guarantee them protection and isolation.

In this "Indigenous" series, Delta wanted to describe the suggestions of the forest, the beach and the sea which are the symbols of these people who managed to gain independence from such a frighteningly technological world. It's simply amazing!!!

Handcrafted in all its complexity, it is a work composed of countless parts that differ in materials, colours and finishes; all hand turned from solid bars; the colours reflect the visions of the places: sky, sea, earth, forest, that is, everything that the human eye can see when approaching the island of North Sentinel which is part of the Andaman Islands in the Indian Ocean.

The clip is inspired by the rudimentary weapon with which the men of that people use to hunt.

The small metal parts are embellished with consistent 24-carat gold plating.

Fixed piston ink filling system, built in our workshop.

The fountain pen is equipped with a 14-karat solid gold nib, available in EF,F,M,B, FLEX EF, FLEX F, STUB 1.1mm. and is engraved in relief with the geographical conformation of the island.

The roller ball, identical to the fountain pen, is equipped with a large ink capacity refill.
